About The Microfactory Makers Club

Once you have completed a time-tabled or induction course, it may be possible to join TMMC, The Microfactory Makers Club, a full-service project-specific workshop timeshare. 

This offers anything from a residency for up to 2 days a week to one-off use of the space for as little as an hour to progress your project or business. This time comes with a minimum level of technician time per hour, more of which can be requested at the time of booking.

Josh is a practising artist and works as a technician for both the Pitt Rivers museum in Oxford and the Tate Gallery in London.

 

He recently completed the introduction to welding course and is now making himself a chair, having booked a space for 2 hours a night every Wednesday for a month. 

 

When he has finished his chair the Pitt rivers will book the space for 2 days a month to complete any metal work they have. This will save them from setting up a metal working area in-house
